Bob has worked for Rampisham Timber Services for over a year and works on all aspects of sawn timber processing, including timber cut to size and firewood – logs and kindling.
His aim is to ensure that all our barn stored hardwood is of high quality, and that all firewood is properly seasoned, clean cut and of an even size.
Bob is involved in all aspects of yard management, including operating processors, managing wood stock levels, delivery schedules to fulfil ongoing orders throughout the season and maintenance of the kiln.
Bob has previously worked for many years as an agricultural contractor. His interest in working at Rampisham Timber Services is that he enjoys working for a company that supports the local woodlands and surrounding environment to provide an ongoing sustainable and renewable energy. Bob also enjoys working outside and working for a local business focused on employing local people.
